“Once Again Rain” to fall in Canada

TEHRAN -- The Iranian short film “Once Again Rain” directed by Ali Vazirian will be screened at the 9th Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival for Children, which is to be held in the Canadian city from April 21 to 30, the Public Relations Office of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) announced on Tuesday.
The film is scheduled to be shown on the 2nd, 5th, and 6th days of the festival.
“Once Again Rain” previously won the Best Live Action short film award at the Golden Elephant (the 14th International Children’s Film Festival) in November 2005 in Hyderabad, India.
The Toronto children’s filmfest will feature an impressive selection of feature, animated, and short films from Canada and the world. A filmmaking workshop for children between 9 and 12 years old and an editing workshop for children between 10 and 13 years old will also be held on the sidelines of the festival.
